The ultimate goal of our PTA website is to place valuable information at your fingertips to inform, educate, and connect the Forest Park Elementary community.

About PTA
What do we do at PTA?

We want to involve you in your children’s education. Our goal is not to simply fundraise but to support Forest Park and our teachers by providing our students with the best learning environment possible. Below is an outline of the many functions of PTA to ensure that we meet this goal.

Fundraising: Facilitation of all programs to raise money for Forest Park’s PTA such as book fairs, fun run, dough for dollars, gift wrap, and much more.  Last year, the PTA was able to pay for new Chromebooks and headsets for the computer lab, books and materials for the Summer Scholars Program, and more, all thanks to the generosity of donors to the PTA.

Membership: Actively promote PTA membership early in the school year.

Health & Sustainability: Coordinate teams of volunteers to improve and promote health, safety and wellness such as “walk to school” events and green initiatives.

Parent Involvement: Facilitate programs to build social relationships among our families and teachers by coordinating room parents, family events, kindergarten tours, teacher appreciation, and more.

Building & Grounds: Assess with Forest Park leadership needs for playground, habitat, plant beds, memorials and overall grounds. Organize grounds workdays and plant installations.

After School Enrichment
The PTA is no longer running the after school enrichment program. The good news is that a fellow FPE parent, Susan Ellis, is now running it.  You may register for classes via Pay4SchoolStuff.  Questions: forestparkenrichment@gmail.com
